General Information
About our Houses:
Our houses are completely furnished. Cookware and table service as well as bed and bath linens are provided. Paper products, detergents and basic cleaning products are stocked as are a few non-perishable condiments such as salt and pepper. With the exception of hand and shower soap, personal toiletries are not supplied. With the exception of the Mill Creek Cabin, all houses have laundry facilities. Most have outdoor furniture and either a gas or charcoal grill. (check individual property amenities).Length of Stay:
During mid-June through mid-September, our minimum stay is normally 7 nights. Occasionally, we can accommodate a shorter stay so be sure to ask. We can extend a modest discount on stays over 2 weeks. Saturday or Sunday check-in is preferred but, again, we can sometimes make exceptions. Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 9:00 a.m. If we do not have guests departing immediately prior to your arrival or arriving immediately after your departure, we may be able to offer earlier check-in and later check-out. Please ask and we will certainly accommodate you if we can.
Getting Here:
The closest airport is Bozeman (Gallatin Field). It is serviced by several national airlines as well as some regional ones. It is about a 30 minute drive from Livingston. Logan Field in Billings is about a two hour drive from Livingston and sometimes offers better connections and fares, especially from the East. If you are driving, Interstate 90 will bring you right into Livingston. If you are coming from the North entrance of Yellowstone Park, you will travel on US Highway 89 South. Driving directions to your vacation house and instructions for key pick-up will be sent or e-mailed to you with your reservation confirmation.
Pets:
Some of our houses allow pets. There is an additional pet fee of $25 per pet as well as an additional pet deposit.
Groceries, Supplies and Gas:
Livingston has several grocery stores including a natural foods store. Albertson's Supermarket near the main Livingston exit (333) is a convenient place to stock up on groceries. There are also several gas stations at that intersection. For those renting houses in Paradise Valley, there is a gas station and a general store in Emigrant so a trip to Livingston is not always necessary for incidental items.
Phones/Cell Phones:
Because this is a mountainous area, cell phones do not always work. Our properties are equipped with phones for local calls and incoming calls. Outgoing calls will require a calling card.
Internet Service:
Many of our properties are equipped with internet service, some with wireless or high speed. Again, check the individual property amenities or ask us.
Large Groups:
We have several houses that are in close proximity. Some are within walking distance of each other. For larger groups you may want to consider renting two or three houses in the same general area.
